Baseball Tonight’s hosts

My day started at 7 AM this morning reviewing my priority list of items and tasks I have to complete before leaving for the ball park today. Luckily I was able to leave my kit on set so all I need to bring is enough items to refill and disposable items and any special requests the hosts may have.

One good thing about starting early and leaving for the field was avoiding the traffic. It was a smooth drive into San Francisco but the closer you came to AT&T park the denser the traffic became. Driving down 3rd street I noticed the signs for parking. $80 cash only read one sign across from the ball park. Another sign said $45.00 cash in hand gets you parked and to the ball park faster. But I passed this lot too and headed for the media lot as usual and walked back the 3 blocks.

It was so early before the game empty racks and stalls lined the streets where vendors would soon stack their shelves with a sea of orange and black Giants memorabilia. Large boxes, small boxes piled high created a maze on the sidewalk for pedestrians. Walking through the path created an obstacle course

It was a long 12 hour day on set with ESPN. But after seeing the guys on air tonight they looked good so all went well. We did have one little issue but it was unavoidable where one of the hosts jackets moired. Seeing as how that was the worst I had to deal with and I don’t get to choose the clothes it was a successful night.
